Council

The Genetics Division has a Council responsible for overseeing, advising, and supervising its teaching, research, and outreach activities.

The Council operates in accordance with the objectives of the Division, and its composition is reviewed and approved by the Department Council. The Council is chaired by the Head of the Genetics Division, who presides over its activities.

The Genetics Division Council is composed of representatives from different groups, ensuring participatory and integrated governance. Its members include:

• Head of the Genetics Division

• Deputy Head of the Genetics Division

• All faculty members affiliated with the Division

• Coordinator of the Medical Genetics Center (or Deputy Coordinator), when not a faculty member

• Coordinator or Supervisor of the Medical Residency Program in Medical Genetics (or Deputy), when not a faculty member

• One representative of the Technical-Administrative Staff in Education (non-physician) assigned to the Division (with an alternate)

• One representative of Graduate students (with an alternate)

• One representative of Undergraduate students (with an alternate)

• One representative of Residents affiliated with the Division (with an alternate)
